Preschool2Teen’s Story

Hello!  Welcome to Preschool2Teen.  My name is Sybil; I’m a wife and mother.  I love assisting parents to encourage their children to set goals and achieve those goals in life through positive self-esteem, anti-bullying and education.

Preschool2Teen was laid on my heart as we sat in church one Sunday morning in 2008.  After speaking to my husband about it, I decided to purchase the domain.  Excitement and fear ran all through my body. You guessed it, I froze and didn’t obey God.  One year later the feeling hit me once again.  This time, I didn’t run away in fear, but I ran toward the challenge.  My first engagement was speaking to an after-school program consisting of pre k3-8th graders.  They invited me to return and do a weekly program.  I was ecstatic!  Parents, kids, and administration loved the lessons and of course, I loved teaching, encouraging and changing little lives.  Due to my husband’s career, we had to pack up and move.  Once settled I began volunteering at the new school regularly and mentioned Preschool2Teen to the teacher.  She invited me to speak to the class. At this point, I spent more time volunteering in the classrooms working with children in the areas of math and reading and talking about self-esteem and anti-bullying.

Once again, we moved.  Before making this move, my husband and I prayed about it being the best decision for our family (it was an extremely long distant move).  My prayer was to help change lives. And once again I started volunteering in classrooms and presenting information about anti-bullying and self-esteem.  But this move introduced a twist; a mother was looking for a little extra educational help for their child.  Someone recommended me and again that fear ran over me.  But, I obeyed.  I accepted and started a journey of being a tutor.  No, way did I ever think of myself as an educator.  That’s one WILD thought!  My degree is in Logistics; sitting in an office or conference room reviewing contracts, negotiating and arranging deliveries.

In 2014, I officially began tutoring and recommending educational tools to other parents. 2016 became the year for me to come entirely out of my comfort zone and share my message with the world. Why? It’s simple; I watch my children, friends and classmates grow and deal with issues on the playground, on teams, and in the classrooms. As I watch other parents be at a loss for ways to help their children deal with “mean” kids and struggle with school work. I pray something shared helps you or a loved one in life’s journey.

Preschool2Teen’s Mission

Preschool2Teen’s mission is to promote self-esteem, anti-bullying and education in our youth across this world.  Each and every day a child takes their life due to struggling with many emotions, feeling alone, and just down right UNPLEASANT encounters.

We have youth struggling in education because they are afraid to ask for help or just does not have the means to receive the necessary help.

As my family travels due to my husband’s job, I have been blessed to encounter many different lifestyles, economic circumstances, and mindsets.  One thing I can say for certain is that each and every precious little mind deserves a chance to SOAR. Each and every little heart deserves an opportunity to love and be loved.

Let’s come together and help save our children.

I truly believe each and every child deserves a chance.  Many circumstances may hinder a child to put forth 100%, but Preschool2Teen is here to give a little help, hope, and encouragement. Help me in empowering our youth for a successful life.

Know YOU, Be YOU,  Love YOU!
